(2) CONVENTIONS/TREATMENTS LEARNING SESSIONS

TUESDAYS 6:15 to about 9:15 (no later than 9:30 finish) until further notice.

Format will be update on modern usage followed by play of and analyses of as many hands relevant to the chosen topic as possible within 3 hours on one convention or aspect of the game for several successive evenings. There will also be tips on Thinking About Bridge to enable improved card play and defense.

For example, we will spend several nights on Slam Bidding At Notrump and a few more on Slam Bidding In Suits; Standard American Yellow Card for play on the Internet, Tactics for Improved Duplicate Bridge Play - both Teams and Matchpoints; which conventions work together, as well as what may not.

Cost is the regular $7 per game. Only $5 for full time students. Between 12 and 20 pages of bidding notes (optional) will be available at the end of each segment(i.e. every couple or 3 nights) for a nominal fee of $3 to those who attend. RESERVE PLEASE!!!

See Special Events/Tournament Schedule for exceptions.

Players who do not have a partner should call in advance and the club will arrange one. The more advance notice - the more compatible the partner. If you request a partner and later find it impossible to attend, you are expected to let the club know, so that no one is left without.
