SPECIAL EVENTS/TOURNAMENTS
Kingston, Ontario was Canada’s First Capital. It is located in
the beautiful Thousand Islands Region at the confluence of the
St. Lawrence River and Lake Ontario. Kingston is 125 miles north
of Syracuse, NY (via Route 81 North and Highway 401 West); 165
miles east of Toronto (Via Highway 401 East); 185 miles west of
Montreal (via Highway 401 West); and 110 miles from Ottawa (via
Highways 416 South and 401 West). There are ample Via Rail (sponsor),
bus and plane connections daily and the highways are all four lanes.
The club organizes in-house special events and local
tournaments that attract many out-of-town
visitors, as well as most of the
local
area players
who enjoy the
competition
and companionship of such endeavors.
