"AUDREY GRANT HAS DONE IT AGAIN !!"

Audrey Grant won the 2001 American Bridge Teachers Association Book-Of-The-Year award for the textbook used in this course. Players should become more familiar with many of the methods used by successful players in this - the new Millennium for bridge, too. The lessons present thorough (as opposed to simple-first-step-only - what do I do now?) methods of using each of many useful conventions. Includes much advice on dealing with interference bidding.

Even if you do not wish to use all of these conventions, you are operating at a decided disadvantage if you are unaware of what most of your opponents will be doing (to you).

Players should have a knowledge of basic Bidding, Card Play and defence to derive maximum benefits from this course.

Stayman.
Jacoby Transfer.
Major Suit Openings and Responses, plus Jacoby 2NT.
Third and Fourth Seat Openings, plus Drury, Truscott, Jordan.
Minor Suit Openings and Responses, Forcing Club Systems.
Is It Forcing?
All that you need to know about Weak Two Bids and Pre-emption.
Strong Opening Two Clubs.

OTHER SHORT COURSES are offered from time to time - inquire at the club.

PRIVATE HOME LESSONS CAN BE ARRANGED FOR FOUR OR MORE.
